What Are the Spark Awards?

The Spark Awards honor insurance carriers, MGAs, or any Ivans® and Cytora™ customers who enhance business operations, improve the customer experience, and set new industry standards. This award highlights the role of innovative technology in driving growth, operational efficiency, and superior experiences for insureds and agency partners.

Why Do the Spark Awards Matter?

It’s time to give credit where credit is due. Recognition for a job well done boosts morale, motivation, and engagement, ultimately strengthening the partnerships between insurance agents, insurance carriers, and MGAs.

Who Qualifies for a Spark Award?

To qualify for a Spark Award, insurance carriers or MGAs must meet the following criteria:

  1. Your organization must currently be an Ivans customer.

  2. Submit an insurance technology-related project that:

    • Solves business problems or creates new opportunities.

    • Improves customer experience, specifically through agency connectivity.

    • Increases operational efficiency, often through automation.

    • Demonstrates innovation that pushes the industry forward.

Specialty insurance carriers, including E&S, are also eligible for nomination.

Once all nomination criteria are received, Ivans will score the finalists based on a defined framework. The winners will be notified in mid-July 2026.

Any employee of an insurance carrier or MGA that uses Ask Kodiak®, Cytora™, Ivans Bookroll™, Ivans Download™, Ivans Distribution Platform™, Ivans Insights™, or Planck® PLUS.

What’s in it for Spark Award Winners?

Spark Award winners receive a digital and physical award recognizing their achievement. They will also enjoy social media promotion, with winners showcased on our website, press releases, and social channels. Winners can also arrange an in-person innovation day with their team and Ivans’ subject matter experts.
